I love filming weddings at Cain Manor, it’s one of my new favourites. I had worked at Cain Manor in the past as a wedding photographer, and am now enjoying filming weddings there too. The manor house and grounds are exclusively yours for 24 hours, so think of it as your home for the day (and night). It’s licensed to host wedding ceremonies both inside and out, with up to 123 guests, and 170 for an evening reception. Roaring log fires add to the magic of a winter wedding here. Cain Manor has 10 additional luxury bedrooms available for the bridal party to enjoy on the night of the wedding, ranging from spacious king-sized beds to cosy twin rooms, suitable for younger guests. There is a swimming pool and tennis courts within the grounds; ideal for couples and families wishing to relax and enjoy the glorious setting pre or post-wedding.

The original building was constructed in the 16th century with timbers that are believed to have been recycled from ships that date back even further. In the 1990s the Manor, which, at the time, was made up of two cottages, was converted to become a single residence which featured a large barn-style Music Room that housed an indoor swimming pool. In 2003, Cain Manor became part of the Harper family of exclusive use wedding venues. The pool was covered to create what today is a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception space, and some of the older outbuildings were converted to offer further wedding night accommodation.
